As a 9th generation Tennessean and Sevier County resident, Bryan’s roots run deep in the Smoky Mountains. Raised just down the road from his Grandfather’s farm, he learned the life lesson of hard work and dedication to family that carries with him today. Bryan graduated from Sevier County High School as a Valedictorian in 2000. He went on to Carson-Newman University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Financial Economics and went on to attain his Certified Public Accountant license.
While in college, Bryan met his wife Anna and they have been married for over 12 years. Bryan and Anna are parents to two spunky, creative, and wonderful daughters Mattie Kate and Janie. You can find them cheering on their kids at softball games, basketball games, and swim meets. Bryan and Anna are people of strong faith. They are active members at First Baptist Church in Sevierville where Bryan serves as a deacon and on several committees.
Professionally, Bryan worked in public accounting for several years until he joined the staff at the town of Dandridge first managing finances then into the role of Town Administrator. In 2013, Bryan accepted the position of Finance Director for Sevier County. He began serving as Sevier County Vice Mayor for Sevier County Mayor Larry Waters in 2017. Bryan is a problem-solver and a planner, and he loves serving the people of Sevier County.
